From the sublime to the ridiculous, we've made another great discovery, this time in the hills behind Cairns at Kuranda. A rainforest caravan park that is lush, leafy, and quiet. A short wander down the train tracks! is a market that we will revisit today, apparently there is locally grown and roasted coffee which quite frankly I'm gagging to try. Our camp coffee is only just passing...
On the way to Cairns I saw: bananas growing; a hill shaped like a pyramid; lots of towns that enjoy a good cyclone. As L. sez "who doesn't enjoy a good cyclone" (rhetorically).
Having a sore arses recovery rest day at Kuranda, we've made good time on the ride north.
My heart bleeds for you cos your coffee is not up to scratch!!!!!
ReplyDeleteS. bought a $5 sunbeam coffee maker from the op shop. Are you up to the challenge L.
